During fall 2017 Arts & Faith St. Louis and the Saint Louis Art Museum began a collaboration to offer opportunities for the St. Louis community to deepen interfaith dialogue and understanding through the visual arts. These as well as other special events came together with the inspiring leadership of Batya Abramson-Goldstein, Chair of Arts & Faith St. Louis Community Engagement.

SLAM Interfaith Art Tours

We have received rave reviews for these tours, led by experienced and inspirational SLAM docents. These specially designed tours focus on artworks which reflect a wide range of faith traditions and inspire questions and conversations among the tour leaders and participants. The hour and one half-long tour will depart from the Museum’s Information Center in Sculpture Hall in the Main Building at 3 pm. The tour is free, no reservations required.

In addition to "drop-in" tours, community groups are welcome to request Interfaith Tours for specific dates/times at Congregational groups are invited to contact Interfaith Partnership at 314-918-2541 for assistance in scheduling their tours and to explore the possibilities of partnering between congregations.
